Bimbo Akintola is one of the most versatile character in the Nollywood Movie Industry and is very easy going. She was born on the 5th of May 1970. She was born to a Muslim cleric father (from Oyo state) and mother (from Edo state). She is the third child of a family of six and a native of Oyo State, Nigeria.She attended Maryland Convent Private School, Maryland,Lagos State, Nigeria for her primary education; Command Day Secondary School, Lagos. She holds a National Diploma Certificate and a First Degree in Theater Arts from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Her first role was in the movie titled "Out of Bounds" for which she was awarded the Best Actress/English Actress in Nigeria. She has also appeared in other movies such as The Mourning After, Out of Bounds, Diamond Ring, Dangerous Twins, and 90Ninth Day. She likes singing and dancing and is single.
